PFNHW Scheme Launch Data Link
Data Link is a free scheme backed throughout Peterborough by Age Concern, Help the Aged, The Carers’ Association, PCC, The NHW Association and the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services and is aimed at reassuring households that essential information is readily available to the Emergency Services, should an accident or sudden illness occur.

The scheme ensures that vital information is readily available not only to identify you, but also to advise of any relevant illnesses, allergies, medication and contact addresses. Click here for more information.

'ICE' (IN CASE OF EMERGENCY)

We have been asked to republish this idea on our website by Peterborough Paramedics.

When emergency services arrive at an incident be it accident or illness, those involved sometimes cannot give emergency contact details because of their injuries, illness or because of shock and confusion.

'ICE' works in the following way to aid the emergency services.

Mobile phone users are encouraged to enter the word 'ICE' into their mobile phonebook and the telephone number that should be contacted in an emergency. Additional numbers can be added under 'ICE 2' and so on.

Don't put it off. Why not do it now?
